At the beginning of 2015, you had resolutions. You had prospects, huge plans, expectations. You were hoping to reach new levels of personal and professional success.
The year is drawing to a close, You may not have achieved all your set goals, not even one. You’re still on the same level and there seems to be nothing to be thankful about after all. Definitely, It’s disappointing and depressing.
You’ve been told several times by those who care, that If you are supposed to have certain things you desire, say a certain job, relationship, etc, then you will! but if u haven’t, maybe this ain’t the right time OR what you desire ain’t meant for you. When one door closes, another one opens and wherever you are now THAT is where you are supposed to be. Be patient, God makes everything beautiful in his own time.
Those words are cliche right? I’m sure you’re already tired of such words of encouragement usually dished out by religious folks.
Let’s give it a practical approach.
Have you done a self evaluation while waiting on God? Are you expecting too much?
Over looking and rejecting smaller opportunities while expecting that big one will surely slow you down. The smaller you start, the further you’ll get.
Are you too relaxed? Maybe it’s time to move out of your comfort zone, change course by trying something different. Don’t be afraid to try new things.
These are two major reasons why most people haven’t reached their goals.
